~ Last letter to John ~

Dear John,

Thank you for all you do and have done. I apologize I didn’t understand until recently. None the less, I am thankful.

Having the ability to see things in a different light, the insults and untruths simply no longer bother me in the least. I too was once blind to the truth. I now have compassion for them and consider them friends. I am glad I was able to bring at least some laughter to their lives. Even if I was the escape goat for their sarcasm. It can be an arduous task to remain in the dark. Hopefully it won’t be as long for them as it was for me. Hopefully, only days remain. If I am correct, approximately between November 28 – 30. The truth is a beautiful thing. It will indeed set you free.

1 piece of my puzzle still remains. For me, the most important. The piece to complete my portion of the family. In a song, the other John once said “I hope you have all you dreamed of”. This 1 piece is the piece I have endured everything for. And, have wished 22 years for. Would you kindly have the man I am to marry deliver the Polaroid and the photos. It is all I ask to identify he is the one ~ for this life and hopefully forever. I assuredly do not wish to make another mistake. Coming from you, I can trust the truth. And, it would be a dream come true.
Always,
me

Ourselves or another?

Recent experience has caused me to question ~ what would the current state of the world be if we chose to accept the responsibility of changing ourselves, instead of accepting the responsibility of changing another? Let he without sin cast the first stone. This scripture begs another question. How could anyone rightly judge another while having the right of judgment to be cast upon them for their own sins?

For this purpose and reason, I begin this journal. That one day mankind will live righteously enough to become worthy in their own lives, to be capable of accepting the responsibility of judging another. Beyond this, will become more wise in pursuing the interference of another’s life, in order to change it for the better. For without living a righteous life, how could anyone hold the measure and standard by which such changes should be made? Not only does this apply to individual lives. It too applies to cities, nations and the world. For the judgments we cast in a fallen state, ripple through mankind across the globe. We see such through the consequence of wars and rumors of wars. Through hostilities of people against people. Neighbor against neighbor.

While Jesus Christ remains the answer to our problems, He established a specific way of living according to Gods will that leads to everlasting joy and peace. The change begins within us. As we align to the rules that oversee all things in heaven and on earth, righteous living too ripples through mankind across the globe. Our free will gives us the choice to choose. To remain fallen as a world. Or, to get back up. In the words of President Hinckley, my favorite prophet, “Falling isn’t falling, if you get back up”.

The time is now, with the soon approach of Christ and the Millennium. As for myself, I choose to prepare, that I might help him righteously lead the way. This too is a journal of my own preparation. Whereby teaching through example is teaching by way of experience. Experience is the act of understanding the way, thereby providing a source that can be trusted. For Christ did not teach by way of words alone. He was our example.
